	Magnifying Jesus: A megaluno life by Aaron Morrow - megaluno.com founder megaluno: to make (or declare) great, i.e. increase or extol: - enlarge, magnify, shew great. Megaluno denotes "to make great" (from megas, "great"). Translated as "to magnify" in Luke 1:46; Acts 5:13, 10:46, 19:17; Phil 1:20. - Paraphrased from Strong's Greek Dictionary of the New Testament. Individually, as believers, we are called to walk as Jesus walked, reflecting Him to the world. I have often heard, and agree with, the suggestion that we are to be "Jesus with skin". We are individually accountable to the call to maturity in "increasing measure"(2 Peter 1:8); to continuously develop our walk with, and in, Christ. We are also called, collectively, to reflect Jesus to the world as the Body of Christ. Even as we take joy in the fact that Jesus will return soon for His Bride, we must diligently demonstrate the unity and holiness (separation from the world to God) that we have been called to. We are the "living stones being built into a Spiritual house" (1 Peter 2:5) "to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit" (Ephesians 2:22). Therefore, we mature individually in Christ to as we are conformed by the Spirit reflect His character, just as we unify corporately as a body to demonstrate our adoption into His family and desire to be built into an edifice to His Glory rather than our own. Basically, when we, as individually transformed and maturing believers, congregate to worship God and study His Word, we testify to the sovereignty and power of our Lord to the world. That testimony (changed lives, unified assemblies) provisions us with the encouragement to boldly share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and advance His Kingdom (Romans 1:16). Additionally, we are given Spiritual Gifts and talents with which we build the church up. They are faithfully employed individually and corporately to magnify Jesus to the farthest reaches of the world as we embrace our role as ambassadors and witnesses for Christ. As with all the blessings of God, we receive these gifts in abundance, far beyond what is needed in most cases for the edification of the assembly that the Spirit has called us to (but not nearly enough to give Jesus all the acclaim that He is due). And, like any quality that we are called to practice in increasing measure, we need to be good stewards of it. A megaluno life is one which intentionally directs the overflow of that abundance magnify Jesus. A megaluno community is one in which that overflow is combined to magnify Jesus in original ways and increasing measure. megaluno.com is simply a central location to meet, multiply those efforts and provide some structure to facilitate God honoring activities that are the fruit of that overflow and colaboration. Our priorities are, and will always be (in order): 1. Individual discipleship in increasing measure. 2. The building-up of the assemblies (communities of believers) in which the Spirit has placed us. 3. The employment of our Spiritual gifting "overflow" toward the further magnification of Jesus and spread of the Gospel around the world using the internet as a medium of communication. Right now, we are a small community of believers praying that God will bless our efforts and provide us with strength and clarity of purpose as we minister to the world and each other for His Glory.	megaluno
